About Bob Parks

Following his graduation from Middle Tennessee State University in 1970, Bob Parks was employed as an underwriter for State Farm Insurance. A short time later he purchased his first home, the catalyst that landed him where he is today. “Buying that first house got me hooked on real estate. I was completely infatuated with it,” Bob said. Deciding to convert his interest into a career, Bob became a licensed Realtor in 1972 and joined Clark Maples Realty in Murfreesboro. After spending three years as an affiliate broker, Bob decided to put some philosophies to work as broker of his own real estate company.

Fairness. Honesty. Commitment. These are the guiding principles upon which Bob Parks founded and built a successful business when he opened in 1975. “The true measure of commitment is one’s willingness to give not only of his resources, but also of his personal time.”

Giving back to community is important to Bob and the entire Parks company. In 2017, over $250,00 was raised and donated to sixteen annual nonprofit organizations with over 3,000 hours dedicated to these worthy organizations. In addition, Parks Realty was the largest corporate sponsor of Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee collectively donating $100,000 creating life-changing wishes for critically ill children. The LCT Team is proud to be part of Parks top philanthropic office of year assisting in donating $40,000 and over 800 hours of community service.

Parks is honored to support the following organizations: American Red Cross, Angel Tree, Christmas for Children, Make-A-Wish, Mary’s Magical Place, Nashville Rescue Mission, Preston Taylor Ministries, Second Harvest Food Bank, Sherry’s Run for Cancer, Soles 4 Souls, Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, Tennessee School for the Blind, TShaw Strong for ALS, Warm Hearts – Warm Coats, Waterford Assisted Living and Wounded Warriors.

Committed to Charity

Real Estate agents are a tremendous part of the communities they serve. The joy of fi nding a family the perfect home is second to only the joy of giving back to the community and its people. Hard work and a generous spirit help our agents and staff members spread holiday cheer to organizations like the Salvation Army, Rutherford County Food Bank, Tennessee School for the Blind, Christmas for the Kids and a charity started by Bob Parks Realty over 20 years ago – Christmas for the Children.

Two charity gold tournaments, a Tennessee Walking Horse Show, and a handful of festive auctions are just a few of the events that take place from early fall to late December every year. “Causes that benefi t children have always been a top priority for our company. That is why we are active in adopting schools, participating in building community playgrounds , and donating our time and resources to the disadvantaged children and families of Middle Tennessee”, says Mr. Parks. Bob Parks Realty is also a major corporate sponsor of the Make-A-Wish foundation of Middle Tennessee. A portion of the proceeds of every sale goes to the Foundation, which strives to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening diseases. We thank you for helping us put smiles on the faces of children. Together we can make a difference.
