Summer has wrapped up and the LCT Team has been busy helping clients sell and find the perfect new home. It’s national CRS Week and top team news includes Lisa Culp Taylor being named Nashville Lifestyles Magazine’s “Favorite Realtor” for the second year in the row for their At Home Awards. The Tennessean also called on the team for their expertise for several interesting stories. Here’s more.

Nashville Lifestyles’ Favorite Realtor – Lisa Culp Taylor

Honored for the second year in a row, LCT Team – Parks’ Lisa Culp Taylor has been named “Favorite Realtor” by Nashville Lifestyles Magazine’s At Home Awards.

The LCT Team’s 2018 motto is “Leveraging real estate resources with a Creative and Tenacious spirit and delivering a synergy of success for each client” which is why Lisa says this award is reflection of her entire team.

“No one wins an award by themselves and it takes a great team effort,” Lisa said. “I am truly blessed by the smart women of the LCT Team – Parks and know it every day. And, I also really appreciate this honor knowing it was voted on by the Nashville Lifestyles audience.”

Writing A Letter During Home Offer

The Tennessean recently tackled the intriguing topic of writing a letter when making a home offer. LCT Team’s Megan Jones was asked for her expertise and experience with her clients.

“I recommend to make clients to write a personal note when it is a multi-offer situation. This emotional appeal can really help the seller when choosing among several offers. It gives the seller a chance to understand the story and why their home is perfect for this particular buyer. It can help them connect with the personal behind the offer rather than just being a name on a piece of paper.”

The Tennessean article goes on to give great tips on writing the letter here. Contact Megan here for more information on presenting the best possible offer for a home bid.

Residential Real Estate Council’s Annual CRS Week

LCT Team is proud to take a moment to acknowledge the Residential Real Estate Council’s (RCC) annual CRS Week. Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers and brokers and Lisa Culp Taylor earned this designation within the first five years of beginning her real estate career.

“Education is important to me and I want to represent my clients as professionally as possible with as much knowledge as possible. This top designation in real estate means a lot to me,” Lisa explained. “It requires a big commitment of time and continuing education and I think it plays an important role in me helping clients to the best of my ability.”

More People Moving For Family, Low Taxes

Family has been a real trend for moving as of late says LCT Team’s Lisa Culp Taylor. In a recent Tennessean article on Family-friendly neighborhoods lure newcomers, an income tax free Tennessee was also a motivator.

“It is a real trend, people relocating for work, relocating to be near the grandparents or to be near the grandkids. Others are relocating to a second home. They want to make Tennessee their primary residence so they don’t have to pay income tax” in another state,” said Lisa.

She estimates that at least 25 percent of her clients are new to the Nashville region. For some other Realtors she knows, the percentage is higher. “I see it throughout Nashville,” said Lisa.
