Forest Hills, a beautiful city in Davidson County on the border of Williamson County, was originally developed as a Nashville suburb after World War II. Today, there are hundreds of beautiful homes here where owners enjoy plenty of wide-open space. Commercial development and high-density housing aren’t permitted in Forest Hills. Nearby Oak Hill, also in Davidson County, also grew significantly after World War II. The city was incorporated in 1952, and no businesses can operate within the city limits.
