I don’t know about you, but I am chomping at the bit to decorate for Christmas!  I haven’t forgotten Thanksgiving, but Christmas is my favorite holiday and I want to revel in it for as long as possible.  And just in case any of you want to get a head start on holiday shopping for your nearest and dearest, I thought I’d let you know about this little stocking stuffer that would make anyone’s season merry and bright! 6415 Johnson Chapel Circle is a new construction by Montgomery Classic Construction and is located in Johnson Cove.  This new luxury neighborhood is situated just off Murray Lane, very near Currey Ingram Academy.  All the homes are beyond gorgeous, but this one really makes my heart sing!  The masterful architects managed to fit in the much-coveted open floor plan and exceptional outdoor living spaces and massive designer amenities and a main level master suite, and, and, and… My point is… this home has it all, but it also has character.  From the unique art deco façade to the incredible use of oversized windows, it’s clear that this five-bedroom, seven bath home is something truly special.

Don’t take my word for it, though…. Allow me to take you on a blogging tour.  The arched front door with eight glass panes opens to a beautiful foyer with warm hardwood floors.  To the left is a stunning living room with soaring ceilings and a fireplace with white painted brick surround and herringbone backdrop.  Expansive crown molding wraps around the room and frames an absolutely amazing two-tiered candelabra chandelier.  Farmhouse doors on either side of the fireplace open to the screened porch on the side of the home.  Opposite the living room, a formal dining room features nearly floor to ceiling windows and those dazzling, wide plank gray wood floors that are used throughout most of the main level.  A butler’s pantry with custom cabinetry connects the dining room with the gourmet kitchen.  And ya’ll… this kitchen.  It’s rustic farmhouse, gourmet restaurant, and cozy kitchen all rolled into one fabulous space.  The star of the room is the HUGE granite topped island that contrasts perfectly with miles of white cabinetry, gray and white granite and a subway tile backsplash.  The stainless-steel appliances are, of course, top of the line.  The kitchen is open to the breakfast room and keeping room.  A pair of doors from the breakfast room opens to the home’s covered porch and open-air terrace.  Tucked in the back of the first floor is a spacious master bedroom with cool coffered ceiling and an even cooler master bathroom with massive amounts of Carrara marble that makes me want to weep with gratitude.  Lastly, a secondary en-suite bedroom (with walk-in closet) is tucked just beyond the master suite and if that is brilliant planning, I don’t know what is!

Upstairs, three additional bedrooms, all with private bathrooms and walk-in closets have been outfitted with high-end finishes.  A sweet study nook at the top of the stairs practically guarantees a GPA boost.  Lastly, a gigantic rec room overlooking the rear of the home includes a rustic wet-bar with ship-lap and open shelving, a semi vaulted ceiling, cool steel ceiling fans and carefully placed can lights.  If you can’t find the kids in the study nook, chances are they’re chilling with friends in this incredible bonus space.  And you should be just fine with that, because while they’re occupied with their buddies, you can have your own party on the incredible lanai or screened porch because this home’s outdoor living areas are something to be celebrated in their own right!

So… can I wrap this house up in a bright red bow for you?  Or at least give you an in-person tour so we can ooh and ahh together?  It’s a special home, to be sure, and designed for a special buyer, but I promise… you’ll pretty much be set for gift giving for the rest of time!
